About This Event
Join us Friday, September 11, 2026 at Decatur Golf Club for the Defender Fundraising Group Annual Golf Tournament, a morning of golf played in honor of the Army National Guard soldiers who serve our state and our country.
Entry is $100 per person and the format is a 2-Man Scramble, with the first flight teeing off at 8:00 AM in a shotgun start. Trophies go to the top three teams, and sponsorship opportunities are open at every level, from $200 Hole Sponsors and $400 Flag Sponsors all the way up to the $2,000 Club Sponsor. Flag and tee box sponsorships put your name in front of every player on the course.
Every dollar raised goes straight back to the soldiers and their families. Past efforts have included direct soldier support, Adopt a Soldier for the Military Ball, and other community fundraising events. Whether you play, sponsor a hole, or simply help spread the word, you are helping take care of the men and women who defend our freedom.
