About The Day

On Friday, September 11, 2026 we gathered at Decatur Golf Club for the Defender Fundraising Group Annual Golf Tournament, a morning of golf played in honor of the Army National Guard soldiers who serve our state and our country.

Entry was $100 per person in a 2-Man Scramble, with the first flight teeing off at 8:00 AM in a shotgun start and trophies for the top three teams.

Every dollar raised goes straight back to the soldiers and their families. Past efforts have included direct soldier support, Adopt a Soldier for the Military Ball, and other community fundraising events.

Keep It Going

The tournament is done for this year, but the mission is not. Every gift still goes straight to Army National Guard soldiers and their families.
